Seed quality starts from the production field: for each variety we choose the field with adequate botanical isolation, taking into account the recommendations for special micro-climate, and latitude agreed with customers.
The seed multiplication is managed by C.A.C.’s technical staff, which assists the growers in each stage, giving instructions on soil preparation, fertilization, treatments, male line destruction (if requested), harvesting, etc.
C.A.C. takes also care with his own staff about rogueing and removal of off-types in the production fields and of nicking adjustment in hybrids.
C.A.C. provides its growers with special machineries and equipment (sowing, transplanting and threshing machines, and drying facilities) to enable them to get the best results from the crops and ensure fast delivery service to its central warehouse for immediate seed checking and conditioning.
